Cornelia Sachs

Cornelia Sachs, Eutony WertheimFor nearly 40 years, I habe been studying and working with movement modalities. Losing my leg due to bone cancer turned my focus on well-being as an independent above-knee amputee with no pain. (See also my video documentary about and with amputees here.) My studies included yoga, naturopathy, Feldenkrais, and Eutony and led me around the world, living in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, and the United States.

Over a period of 15 years, I maintained my own Feldenkrais practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico and experienced how a wide-range of clients improved their personal well-being. I first studied Eutoniy with the founder Gerda Alexander herself in 1981 but did not complete her training at that time. The effective yet gentle method of the Eutony work I once experienced in the 80s kept me exploring other methods and finally led her back to Germany, where she received her Eutony Therapy certification in 2016 at the Gerda-Alexander School in Offenburg. Since 2017 she is offering Eutony classes in Wertheim.
